Myrtle Beech Burl(nothofagus cunninghamii)

A cool, temperate rain forest timber that grows in Tasmania and areas of SW Victoria produces a fine workable timber. It is suitable for many applications and is a superior craft timber which can be found with plain to highly figured grain patterns.This fine piece has richly coloured and burly figure which always makes for unique pieces of this material. It was recently processed down from larger stock and will need further seasoning prior to use. Also the dark will need to be removed if this piece is being sent outside Australia.
