A variant found in this species is thought to be the result of fungal invasion that leaves a dark stained pattern through the timber with various effect. From thin to thick sized stripes and spots with an everchanging consistency this ensures that no two piece are ever identical. A longer piece that will suit many projects with great Tiger figure alongside the transition point onto the sapwood for a nice colour variation. There is a small bark inclusion, as pointed out in the video, which will turn or carve out easily.
